We are looking for a dynamic and capable Outreach and Engagement Manager to join our small dedicated arts team. To be responsible for the development and delivery of our festival engagement programme across South Lakeland and Cumbria in the lead up to and during the festival.

 Lakes Alive Festival runs annually on the 6th - 8th of September celebrating Cumbrian landscape, people and place, and showcasing and creating world class work in outdoor and site specific locations. We work to actively engage and inspire audiences to reflect upon the world around them and their role within it by creating and delivering a programme of free cultural experiences.

 This is a short term freelance contract initially May – September 2019 inclusive, with the possibility of extension. The fee for the contract is £7,800 inclusive of expenses and based on approximately 60 days work, minimum of 2 days a week and full time in the week run up to the festival from the Lake District National Park offices in Kendal.
