The most central carpark to all locations is Peppercorn Lane: LA9 5AQ
A variety of pay and display car parks can be found nearby to each event site. Links can be found next to the locations above.
From the South Exit the M6 at junction 36 and follow the A590 to South Lakes. Take the South Kendal (A6) exit and follow the signs for Town Centre.
From the North Exit the M6 at junction 39 and follow the A6 for Kendal. Once in Kendal follow signs for M6 junction 36 and A65.
Oxenholme: The Lake District is the nearest main-line railway station (less than 3 hours from London). A connecting train will bring you to Kendal Station, where it is a short to walk to a number of our festival sites.

The festival is accessible by a level walk way along the River Kent.

The nearest airport is Manchester, from the airport you can get a direct train to Oxenholme Station.

WHERE TO STAY?
Kendal, Windermere and the Lake District National Park more widely is home to a wide variety of luxury hotels, quirky B&B's and cheap and cheerful hostels. A whole host of camping and luxury glamping sites are popping up due to popular demand.
We recommend you staying in staying closer to Kendal if you want to enjoy all that Lakes Alive has to offer. The Lake District is very busy throughout summer so we always recommend booking early. Have a look at the options through Go Lakes

A variety of Street food is available from stalls at Abbot Hall Park over the Lakes Alive Festival. Grab something on the move or bring a picnic and enjoy one of our lovely parks.
